Meet Sydney Cahill
Sydney Cahill is an accomplished theatre director and writer known for her unique storytelling and visual style. Most recently, she directed productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Polycule at Festival 56. Previous credits include Lungs by Duncan Macmillan at Providence College and I'm So Glad We Did This with Chorus Girl Productions at the Reverie Room.

Sydney is a leader in New Works development, having served for two years as the Director of New Works for Festival 56, the largest theatre festival in Illinois, resulting in premiere productions of Mark Shanahan's See Monsters of the Deep and Jillian Blevins' The Polycule. Sydney also worked as a Production Assistant on the world-premiere production of Cordially, Indisposed at Vanguard Theater, and interned at Bay Street Theater during the premiere of an exciting, immersive production entitled Wonder/Wall.​
With a passion for imaginative staging and a keen eye for detail, Sydney has brought numerous projects to life with creativity and professionalism. Her dedication to the craft shines through in every moment, spotlighting authentic emotions and creating memorable theatrical experiences.
