Playwright

As a playwright, Sydney's previous works include the one-act play Pas de Deux, which had a reading in 2020 at the Smith Center for the Arts, as well as the ten-minute play "Knowing," which was shortlisted for Orange Players 10 Minute Play Festival in 2019.

Sydney also wrote a play entitled "Cast List" which was produced as part of the 2020 Writers' Summit at Providence College. Additionally, her piece "Gallery" was featured in the Creative Writers' Festival at the Smith Center for the Arts, a new works theater festival which produces new plays in exclusively site-specific environments. Sydney also writes sketch comedy, and she wrote for Six Gents Sketch Comedy group from 2019 to 2022.
